The Really: No Vanity Fair party at Morton’s?
The word is the Hollywood parties are being notched back so as to not look like a CEO flying in on a newly purchased corporate jet to ask for a handout.
Fine. But isn’t the larger problem the awards ceremony itself? Will it pull viewers because no one goes out anymore because they don’t have any money? Or as the entertainment pundits have been saying: it is a relic of another time whose time has passed.
Well, we always go to a party –or throw one-and we always have the official ballot…’cause it makes our picks better!
