Reports are circulating that while on the set of his new movie Robin Hood, Mr. Crowe gave a crew member a pile of cash (reports have the amount from 5,000 Euro to $16,000) to help her purchase a new car. The London Mirror reports Crowe “gave movie worker Denise Yarde £5,000 so she could buy a new car after her old one went up in flames.”
Sounds like a bit of a self made Robin Hood story if you ask us. Either way its better press then what we are used to like Crowe in domestic disputes with his family or yelling at bell hops in a hotel. Bravo Crowe…
