Rihanna and Chris both in the house but not sitting together (but did they want to!) and created as much of a stir as ancient mascot Derek Fisher’s game saving threes in what was one of the best NBA basketball games for pure entertainment value you are likely to see. Oh, and the Lakers won 99-91 and took a 3-1 lead in the series in a game where they trailed by 12 points at the half and Orlando looked like magic.

In our recent exclusive interview with Charles C. McGalls via Skype we were able to get him to open up about the who, what, when and where of this crazy business of him calling out the NBA superstar Dwayne Wade to a match of 1 on 1. In short, Charles Charles claims to be a billionaire business mogul who grew up playing street ball (his true love) on the asphalt courts in his home town of Forest Hills, Queens. Mr. McGalls says that his challenge and calling out of Wade began during this current NBA season in which all the talk of Dwayne Wade being MVP of the league really got under his money belt. He claims that the only way Wade can truly be the MVP is if Wade takes on all challenges which includes his of a simple game of 1 on 1 with the rules being, and I quote, “TO 10 BY 1 GOTTA WIN BY 2!!!!!!!!” As a kid growing up in NYC myself I played 1 on 1 by these very same rules all the time. I had never heard of Charles Charles McGalls when I was in Queens growing up so…?

I am not sure how Mr. McGalls expects to get Wade to actually take him up on his challenge but the tons of money he is throwing at getting Wade’s attention is certainly working. McGalls has posted his challenge on a billboard right in front of the Miami Heat’s home Arena, had several call-ins to Jorge at 790AM “The Ticket“, a Miami sports radio station, McGalls has purchased court side seats to games just to trash talk Wade (sounds very Mark Cubanish…), purchased advertising of his challenge on the rotating billboards in Miami Arena, Facebook pages, Twitter, and seems to have some relationship with Converse. There is so much other crap we are tried of writing about it.

Like it or not, McGalls has the attention of the public and the press. As of today his antics were featured front and center on the blog Deadspin.com. We don’t know if he is for real or not but just the sheer fact that he is blowing this much cash and getting this much attention is note worthy.
