Russell Crowe steals from himself to give to the poor, kind of…

Reports are circulating that while on the set of his new movie Robin Hood, Mr. Crowe gave a crew member a pile of cash (reports have the amount from 5,000 Euro to $16,000) to help her purchase a new car. The London Mirror reports Crowe “gave movie worker Denise Yarde £5,000 so she could buy a new car after her old one went up in flames.”

Sounds like a bit of a self made Robin Hood story if you ask us. Either way its better press then what we are used to like Crowe in domestic disputes with his family or yelling at bell hops in a hotel. Bravo Crowe…

The Really: After all we have heard about Christian Bale is this really a shocker?

NO! But it is hysterical that he would actually be stupid enough to let it get leaked out. BlogReally.com can’t wait to see what Christian’s next movie contract is like and if there are any anger management clauses in it! We tend to think he might be on the sauce or something along those lines but who knows, maybe he really was just that mad that the cinematographer stepped in his shot.

Come on Batman, you can’t go around wasting your energy yelling at film geeks and smacking around your mom and sister when there is all that crime you need to be fighting in Gotham.

Here they are and one great surpise is the weakness of the film Revolutionary Road in favor of noms for The Reader. The battle of the Hollywood titans Weinstein and Rudin seems to have been won by Harvey Weinstein (again).

Could Milk slip in as Best picture with split votes for The Wrestler and Benjamin Button? Get out your ballots, have a party and watch February 22.

The Really: Tom Cruise removed the foot out of his mouth long enough to say that he really was sorry for being “arrogant” when he went on his diatribe about Brooke and her life in a 2005 interview.

In an interview today (December 15, 2008) on Today with Matt Lauer, Tom cruised his way into an apology of sorts for his words during an interview with Mr. Lauer 3 years ago where he ripped into his X-wife Brooke Shields for her using medication to battle postpartum depression amongst other things.
