What a difference a month makes. 4 weeks ago we were all sure that Lebron was NY or NJ bound because of his bad breaks and misunderstandings in the 09 NBA Playoffs. A few twitter updates later and Lebron gets the Original Superman to help stop Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic next year. I bet you one thing, when Lebron and the Cavs beat up on the Orlando Magic next year in the Eastern Conference Playoffs, Lebron will be the first player in line to shake hands… Should be interesting. Can anyone say Shaq VS Coby in the Finals?

The Really: What was the big news at the Amway Arena last night in Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Lakers and the Orlando Magic? Rihanna and Chris Brown WERE BOTH AT THE GAME!

Rihanna and Chris both in the house but not sitting together (but did they want to!) and created as much of a stir as ancient mascot Derek Fisher’s game saving threes in what was one of the best NBA basketball games for pure entertainment value you are likely to see. Oh, and the Lakers won 99-91 and took a 3-1 lead in the series in a game where they trailed by 12 points at the half and Orlando looked like magic.

The Really: They beat last year’s champions the Boston Celtics and they just beat the team with the best record this year and the MVP –the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James. But they don’t have a chance against the Lakers in the NBA Finals? Really?

The King is dead, long live the King and it was Superman Dwight Howard who did Lebron in. But even though they beat the Lakers twice in the regular season, beat last year’s NBA champion and the team with the best record this year, nobody can believe they can beat the sting of the Black Mamba? Despite the excellent weapons like Lewis and Turkgolu the Laker big guys with talent Bynum, Odom and Gasol will hamper Howard enough to let all other things be equal…which really means letting Kobe roam.
