Chris Brown Pleades Guilty To Felony Assault

Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault for the beating of his ex girlfriend Rihanna. Brown was in an LA court today to plead guilty. He did so as part of a plea agreement that will become official on August 5th of this year.

Chris Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, said the plea deal includes five years of supervised probation and six months of community labor.

The judge also imposed a stay away order on both of the superstars. The order requires that Brown and Rihanna stay at least 50 yards from each, except at industry events when the distance is reduced to 10 yards.

The 44 year old father of R&B singer Chris Brown who accused of domestic violence is speaking out on his son’s behalf in an interview at People.com this week. In the interview he says, “He’s reflecting on this situation,” Clinton Brown tells People.com of his son. “He’s very remorseful. He’s very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna's] OK.”

Grammy Nominated Fists Fly Before 51st Annual Grammy’s

The Really: Did make Grammy nominated R&B singer Chris Brown really punch and bite female Grammy nominated R&B singer Rihanna in the weeeeee hours of Sunday morning?

That is the report. New agencies are reporting that Chris Brown was arrested and then released on 50K bond for assault of superstar female singer Rihanna. The two were supposedly driving in LA late Saturday night, early Sunday morning when Mr. Brown became irate and attacked Rihanna. Rihanna is said to have received treatment for her wounds at a local hospital while Brown was getting another form of treatment at the local jail. Both were nominated for Grammy’s this at this years award show as well as they were both scheduled to perform. Neither won and neither showed for their set on stage.

Update: TMZ is reporting that the facial injuries were “horrific.”
